We are currently seeking:
ForemenThe Foreman will oversee daily operations of a work crew at assigned worksite under leadership of Site Superintendent or Project Manager to ensure the completion of assigned tasks or projects in a safe and efficient mannerThe Foreman will also serve as the point of contact between the construction workers and superintendents.Responsibilities Ensure each assigned crew follows all safety standards. Lead assigned crew of construction workers and trade professionals to perform specific tasks Where applicable, directs and oversees junior or subordinate staff members regarding construction, operations, and/or maintenance tasks and assignments at a project site. Report project progress to superiors Implement and coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel Serve as liaison between assigned crew and superintendent Solve disputes between workers Delegate individual responsibilities and projects to assigned crew members and contractors Monitor need, use, and expenses for crew supplies or tools to complete assigned tasks Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications At least 3 years of related experience required Ability to organize a work schedule Ability to solve disputes between workers Excellent communication skills Ability to negotiate Deep knowledge of the construction industry and processes Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints, preferred Perform quality checks on construction equipment Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather and bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to make inspections Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at times Travel is required.
